Oil Tank Replacement & Installation
Typically a well maintained oil tank will safely last 15-20 years. If you just purchased a new home with an oil tank and unsure of the condition, contact NRG to have your tank inspected and repaired or replaced if necessary.
Signs your oil tank may need to be serviced or replaced
- Corrosion: Examine the exterior of your oil tank, rust and corrosion can be a sign of leakage or leakage to come.
- Installation failures: Uneven legs or cracks in the slab your tank sites on could indicate your tank wasn't installed properly which can affect the ability of your tank to function effectively.
- Stuck Gauges: If your fuel gauge is stuck or broken you run the risk of running out of fuel or conversely over filling your tank.
